Prerequisites

You need access to the mobile and the watch app. If you see both apps installed (iPhone + Apple Watch), you are ready! โœ…

โ— After installation, if you don't see it on your watch, go to TestFlight and make sure this toggle is on:

Note: the app can take up to 10 minutes to show up on your watch.

โŒš For the optimal experience, please make sure that you have the following setup:
  • your watch is charged to 80% every night
  • always on display is disabled (to avoid seeing the screen glare at night)
  • you activate "silent" mode
  • sleep mode is activated

What needs to be done each night - here is where you step in

1. ๐Ÿ”‹ Make sure your Apple Watch has a battery percentage of at least 80%.

๐Ÿ’ก It is expected for our app to drain ~35-40% of your battery during the night. Nothing to worry about.

Why does WakeZ use a fair bit of power, you ask? Well, while you're catching some Z's, we're busy recording a lot of useful data: heart rate, heart rate variations, movement, changes in movement, you name it! All this helps WakeZ become even more accurate over time.

2. ๐Ÿ“ฑ Open the iPhone app and set up your smart alarm. Just choose the time at which you normally wake up every day.

3. โŒš With the iPhone app opened, open the Watch app as well and tap on Hack your sleep ๐Ÿ’ค

4. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป If you see your heart beat on the watch, you're all done!

6. ๐Ÿ“ In the morning, after you're wide awake, make sure to fill any form that might be available in the mobile app for you (tap on the smiley face in the bottom left corner of the screen).
