Of course, we are running this pilot study to further enhance the sleep ecosystem, so your feedback is of great importance. Thank you for helping the world take one step forward. ๐๐ป
Prerequisites
You need access to the mobile and the watch app. If you see both apps installed (iPhone + Apple Watch), you are ready! โ
Note: the app can take up to 10 minutes to show up on your watch.
- your watch is charged to 80% every night
- always on display is disabled (to avoid seeing the screen glare at night)
- you activate "silent" mode
- sleep mode is activated
(this is what you should see on your watch)
What needs to be done each night - here is where you step in
1. ๐ Make sure your Apple Watch has a battery percentage of at least 80%.
Why does WakeZ use a fair bit of power, you ask? Well, while you're catching some Z's, we're busy recording a lot of useful data: heart rate, heart rate variations, movement, changes in movement, you name it! All this helps WakeZ become even more accurate over time.
2. ๐ฑ Open the iPhone app and set up your smart alarm. Just choose the time at which you normally wake up every day.
3. โ With the iPhone app opened, open the Watch app as well and tap on Hack your sleep ๐ค
4. ๐๐ป If you see your heart beat on the watch, you're all done!
(this is what you will see on your Apple Watch)
5. Good night! ๐ค
6. ๐ In the morning, after you're wide awake, make sure to fill any form that might be available in the mobile app for you (tap on the smiley face in the bottom left corner of the screen).
